Xgen (core) has been used for the grooming. If needed it can be easily translated to Xgen Interactive Spline just by a click.
The main fur description is actually baked (BakedGroomManager modifier) to ger faster rendering, but can always be edited and modified.

ARNOLD NOTES:
The actual rendering settings are for a medium/high quality output. To get better quality images you can increase the Arnold settings up to your machine limit.
